Jewelry Watches Made of Tanzanite – Elegant, Unique and Stunning
Tanzanite is a gorgeous blue/purple gemstone often employed to create upscale jewelry. It is not typically utilized in fashion products meant for active use due to its delicate constitution. Because of this characteristic, it may be hard to locate real Tanzanite jewelry and watches.
About Tanzanite
Tanzanite was named for the location of its discovery – Tanzania. It was first discovered there more than forty years ago, in the late 1960’s. Its prettiness is universally recognized. In its unprocessed state, it appears with a light blue, violet or even green tint. After being cut and treated, the gems are sold as completed gems with full violet and blue tints.
In 2002, Tanzanite was acknowledged by the American Gem Trade Association as the endorsed birthstone for December, usurping Blue Topaz. Because of this, costs for raw Tanzanite have doubled or tripled to two or three hundred dollars for a sole carat. Many jewelers, however, have been reluctant to recognize this new distinction, preferring to stay with the customary Topaz stone.
As costs have risen, interest in lab-created stones has increased as well. Tanzanique is the most popular variant and is found in many jewelry types.
Tanzanite Watches
Since Tanzanite is normally used in pieces that are not intended for daily use, it is not common to encounter a mass-produced Tanzanite watch. These watches typically accent the Tanzanite with other stones, or guard them by embedding them in a protective setting.
Lucien Piccard today makes a small number of beautiful models of Tanzanite watches for ladies, while many out-of-production watches are sold on eBay. Artisan jewelers, of course, have always been resourceful enough to use this gemstone into made-to-order watches.

Some Fashion Rules That Only Apply to Diamond Necklace
When we say “diamond necklace we definitely think about great fortune, fame and definitely glamor. But are there any “anonymous” people who get to wear a diamond necklace? If in the past the answer to such a question would have been a discouraging “no”, we cannot claim the same thing nowadays when diamonds have become more accessible to the average buyer. Whether bought for a special day or simply rented to rise up to a unique occasion, a diamond necklace requires a certain protocol to be followed. There are some fashion rules that only apply to diamonds and not taking them into consideration would definitely be bad taste.
First of all, the dress must be matched with the color of the diamond necklace and not vice versa. Since such jewels are considered the highest expression of style and refinement, the clothes must definitely rise to the same quality level. The dress you wear with a diamond necklace mustn’t necessarily by incredibly expensive, or the unique design of a famous fashion house, but it definitely has to meet the elegance expectations. Diamonds are only worn in the evening, never during the day, this is the only time when their sparkle is uniquely reflected. Furthermore, the rest of the accessories, if there be any, need to be matched with the necklace, and usually be diamonds too.
A diamond necklace can be worn at a wedding, a dinner, a special official reception or on any other social occasion that requires a highly exquisite presence. The “sexy black dress and the diamond necklace” look is almost a cliché, in terms of fashion and personal choices. Ask any man or woman and see what they’d say about the way to wear a diamond necklace; market research shows that more than half of those asked would make the above mentioned association. And they wouldn’t be very far from the truth: a transparent diamond necklace best goes with a black evening dress, but this is by no means the only combination possible.
Buying a diamond necklace could sometimes be a true responsibility; men usually offer them as signs of appreciation, love, gratitude and so on, and the word goes that there is not a single woman who would remain indifferent to a carefully chosen “diamond necklace”. The “star” reputation associated with wearing a diamond necklace comes from the frequency with which famous women are seen displaying such unique jewelry items. They have an image to live up to and they definitely keep it going.

Jewellery Personality Types: Help Buying Jewellery For Her
Women love jewellery. Fact. There’s just something about the way it makes us feel that is irresistible. We use it to complete a ‘look’ whether it be adding a glimpse of personality to a work outfit, a touch of sparkle to a dress or simply making us feel that little bit special day-to-day.
Jewellery makes a great gift. However, it isn’t a case of one size fits all. Jewellery taste is closely linked to personality – give her something she doesn’t like and she will start analysing how well you really know her. Yes, in principle, the thought does count. She will appreciate being given jewellery, although if you misjudge her taste, she will at best only wear the jewellery for your benefit and at worst bury it deep in a drawer and question what possessed you to buy it in the first place.
The solution? Save yourself a wasted effort and embarassment by learning to recognise the different jewellery personality types and it will guide you in your search.
There are essentially six different jewellery personality types:
1. The Trend Setter: She is an extrovert – effortlessly stylish, confident and outspoken. The Trend Setter wears attention-grabbing jewellery and carries it off so well that others instantly want to copy her look. When buying jewellery for a trend setter, you definitely need to avoid anything potentially last season (or even current). A good tip is to keep an eye on what she’s wearing at the moment and if you’re in luck, you’ll be able to find something equally eye-catching and unique for her from a shop that’s ahead of the fashion game.
2. The Fashionista: She is self-confident with a keen eye for fashion, although perhaps a couple of steps behind the Trend Setter. She will be wearing the latest catwalk or high street styles. Unless she donates regularly to charity, your average Fashionista’s wardrobe is likely to be overflowing with discarded clothes and costume jewellery from previous seasons. Buying jewellery for a Fashionista is relatively easy. Find out what’s in at the moment (from fashion magazines or simply what everyone’s wearing) and you’re on to a winner.
3. The Chameleon: Less obvious to spot than the Fashionista, the Chameleon has hidden depths. She picks and chooses which trends to follow. What is interesting about this personality is that she likes a variety of different styles and will mix and match to suit the occasion or her mood. You can spot a Chameleon if she keeps certain items of her wardrobe for best, accessorizes well and can carry off a number of different looks. There is a lot of scope when buying jewellery for a Chameleon. You just need to think of fitting occasions when she can wear it and potentially match it up with her existing accessories. For instance, think glamourous for night, simple and practical for day, colourful for summer and so on.
4. The Conservative: She has traditional values and classic style. The Conservative doesn’t follow fashion trends as such and prefers quality over quantity. Unlike the Fashionista, she will have a small jewellery collection made up of expensive pieces. To make a Conservative happy, you should opt for classic designs and gold, silver or pearls.
5. The Girl-Next-Door: The epitome of understated feminine charm, the Girl-Next-Door is natural and friendly. She knows her own style and sticks to it. When buying jewellery for her, be sure to make it personal – pay attention to her individual style and choose something feminine that reflects this. Her preferences for long or short necklaces, feminine hearts or butterflies and her favourite colours are worth considering. For example, if she likes ethnic or earthy jewellery, think about getting her some eco-friendly wooden jewellery.
6. The Tomboy: Perhaps the least likely to wear jewellery, the Tomboy is fun, easy-going and often sporty. Day-to-day she doesn’t spend a lot of time into her appearance preferring practicality over style. She will dress up for special occasions, but without making too much fuss. If you are buying jewellery for a Tomboy, steer clear of overtly feminine designs or anything that is too bling. Practical necklaces, bracelets and earrings are best. Again, sneak a peak at her existing jewellery collection for further guidance on her taste for colours and designs.
Once you know what jewellery personality type she is, you will have a better idea of jewellery designs she will love and those that should definitely be avoided. If you’re still finding it difficult, you can always ask one of her friends or relatives for help narrowing it down.

Engagement Ring Enthusiasm
When someone announces that they got engaged, don’t most people, especially ones you know, excitedly congratulate you and ask to see your ring? Did engagement rings lose their fascination? I think it must have because that’s what happened to me. At least, I think maybe it happened to me because when I talk to people about it, they seem to think differently. Anyway, I recently got engaged – yay, I’m so happy! When I made the announcement to my close friends, they seemed happy for me too, maybe not overly excited, but happy. I usually thought at this point, people would grab my left hand to see my ring, but no one really did. No one really asked to even see my ring. Well, I’m exaggerating. A couple of them did as well as my immediate family, but not even some of my close cousins asked. I was a little shocked, maybe even a little hurt. I wanted to show off my ring, not because I’m a showy person, but because I guess that is what I expected. Plus, my fiancé spent a lot of time in choosing my ring after looking at so many diamond engagement rings, and I know he’s proud that he was able to even pick a ring on his own. Hmmm, I wonder where I even got this notion of how people, women especially, typically act during engagement announcements. I blame the movies and TV. I also think and observe that other people generally ask to see the ring just because we’re all curious, and I know that I excitedly ask to see my girlfriends’ engagement rings. So why did I get a different reaction?
I hope that I don’t seem whiny or anything like that. I guess the lack of reaction seems like people aren’t that excited about my future wedding or really happy for me. But is that really the case, or is it all in my head? I do feel that the economic situation changed people’s emotions, made them seem more cautious and subdued and less celebratory, so maybe this occasion affected their reactions. Or maybe they were too busy at the time to ask to see my ring or had other things on their minds that they need to take care of. Or maybe it’s because it gets tiring with so many other people getting married – I’m one of the last ones in my circle of friends and co-workers to be married. I don’t know.
I asked my sister what could be the case. She said to not think about this any more because I have more important things to do in my life, such as my job, fiancé, and, most of all, my wedding. My sister said that I have a lot of work ahead of me in terms of wedding planning, and I need to start now. I’m getting married in eleven months, and I didn’t start yet. And she’s right. I have to stop worrying about other people’s reactions to my ring. Who knows what could be the reason. I’m just happy that I have a great fiancé who decided that he wants to spend the rest of his life with me.

When choosing a pearl bracelet, one should be careful by measuring the length of the wrist. Wearing it too tight might be uncomfortable and might also cause the pearls to break.
